Overview
Experience the rich cultural heritage of Western Sichuan just a short drive from Chengdu. This day tour takes you to Taoping Qiang Village and Ganbu Tibetan Village, where you can immerse yourself in the unique traditions and architecture of the Qiang and Tibetan ethnic groups.
Taoping Qiang Village: Known as the “Eastern Castle,” this village features ancient Qiang architecture with its distinctive watchtowers and interconnected houses. Wander through the narrow alleys, explore the underground water supply system, and learn about the Qiang people’s way of life.
Ganbu Tibetan Village: With a history of over 2,500 years, Ganbu is a well-preserved Tibetan village. Admire the stone houses built along the hillside, participate in traditional Tibetan activities like dancing the Guozhuang, and savor local Tibetan cuisine.
